Battery Moltke
Description
Remnants from the Second World War, when Jersey was part of the so called "Atlantic Wall", are omnipresent along the island's coast. While some of them make a prominent landmark, others fit quite neatly into the cliffs or the shoreline. These buildings are considered to be a part of Jersey's heritage and usually show no to (if at all) only little signs of vandalism, so there are no efforts to get them demolished.
This picture shows the so-called "Marine Peilstand 3" (MP3) tower and (afaik) the FL242 flak bunker, which are both part of "Battery Moltke" in Les Landes in the northwest of Jersey.
